At the Heart of Money, LLC is an organization born out of a desire to
help people understand themselves and their money to reduce stress in
their lives. It is a fresh, new approach to creating an
individual money plan that works.
We are convinced that behind closed doors all across America, too many
people are stressed to the “max” by money. Too many people work
in jobs they don’t love because they are restrained by the golden
handcuffs. Too many marriages fail because of money. We
know because we, like you, face the same struggles every day.
Our story is woven throughout the book,
At the Heart of Money. We
are normal people, just like you. Our passion stems from the
dream that these simple truths will positively impact you. This
book is designed to be simple because money is simple. Life has
too much to offer to allow the frustration of money to steal your
dreams.
To state it simply: it’s not about the money. What we commonly
blame as money stress has very little to do with money. Stress
arises from the issues behind the money. We spend money to fill
voids but the real voids cannot be filled with anything money can
purchase. We misuse money because of peer pressure, consumerism or
entitlement. This is the Bermuda Triangle of Finance.
Legends report that ships, planes and unaware travelers venture too
close to the triangular area near Bermuda and apparently, drawn by some
undetected force, disappear. The Bermuda Triangle of Finance is
also a mysterious phenomenon. People approach it unaware there is
a force that can consume them. The triangle is composed of peer
pressure, consumerism and entitlement. This is the power of the
culture.
Another concept presented throughout
At the Heart of Money is the
importance of living a balanced life. Exercises are included to
help the reader determine where their time, energy and money is out of
balance.
